About Nippur

Nippur is named after the Sumerian city, seat of learning and record-keeping. The product’s job is exactly that: keeping the record between school and home.

The problem we started from

A private school runs its communication on three tools that were never made for it: WhatsApp groups where the important announcement is lost under fifty messages and every family’s number is exposed to every other; a paper register where today’s absence is known a week later; and phone calls that take the secretary’s whole morning. The result is that the parent is the last to know.

Not a translated system

Nippur is built from the ground up for a private school, not translated into it: in Arabic first and then mirrored, with the school’s calendar and weekend, with amounts written in full, and with a sign-in code the school issues, because an SMS proves nothing except that somebody holds a SIM.

What it refuses to let happen

What matters most in Nippur is not what it does but what it prevents: no mark published without approval, no refusal without a reason, no child collected without a valid authorisation, no change to the record without a trace. These rules are written into the database itself, not into a setting that can be forgotten.

Candour beats marketing

The features page says what is built and what is not. The parent app, the teacher app and the core admin panel are ready and tested. Push notifications are technically ready and their provider awaits a decision with the school. Kurdish and English await linguistic review. The bus supervisor’s app and the parent-meetings screen are not built yet.

Decisions that belong to the school, not the programmer

Some questions are not ours to answer: are results withheld over late fees? Who sees a medical alert? Which lesson represents the day for the family? The system was built to accept any answer, and we put them to you in the first session.

Request a demo for your school

We show you the app and the admin panel on demo data and answer your questions. One session is enough to know whether it fits your school.
